Among them, the ternary version successfully passed the acupuncture test, and the iron-lithium version passed the shooting test perfectly. This makes CALB the earliest manganese-based battery company and the first to realize industrialization. For a long time, lithium iron manganese batteries have no advantage in energy density due to poor conductivity and low compaction density.

Therefore, CALB has been continuously tackling and improving a series of problems of manganese iron and lithium since 2014. As early as the 2021 World New Energy Vehicle Conference, CALB officially released the One-Stop battery platform technology. This is the reconstruction of the cell structure and process manufacturing technology based on first principles. It is the fourth packaging form after soft package, cylinder vs square battery. With higher energy density, higher manufacturing efficiency, and higher space utilization.

Based on this, after more than a year of hard work, CALB’s first-generation lithium iron phosphate battery pack using OS technology has an energy density of 152Wh/kg. This is the highest value in the industry so far, and the overall energy density retention rate reaches 77%, supporting a cruising range of more than 600 kilometers.

At present, the One-Stop battery platform has completed the pilot test, and is carrying out the reliability test of the supporting models of China Innovation Airlines. CALB is also officially released for the OS high manganese iron lithium battery in the TWh era: beyond the first generation. And it has better safety, higher energy density of battery packs, longer range of electric vehicles, and lower cost.

Through a series of bottom-level innovations, CALB’s OS high-manganese iron lithium battery can solve the multiple needs of electric vehicle users for power batteries. Specifically, the OS high manganese iron lithium battery has seven advantages:

● In terms of safety, CALB adopts the TPP2.0 industry-first thermoelectric separation technology to ensure the robustness of system safety;

● In terms of economy, the consumption of precious metals is greatly reduced, 0 nickel and 0 cobalt, and the consumption of lithium per watt-hour is reduced by 15% compared with that of lithium iron phosphate , helping users to obtain lower purchase costs under the same mileage conditions;

● In terms of height, the height of the battery pack is reduced by 7%, and the ground clearance is higher, reducing the probability of bumping;

● In terms of energy density, the energy density of phosphate-based battery packs reached 180Wh/kg, and the energy density retention rate exceeded 80%;

● In terms of battery life, it supports the vehicle’s battery life of up to 700 kilometers;

● In terms of after-sales, it can be repaired and disassembled;

● In terms of energy supplementation experience, it can be recharged and replaced.

It is worth mentioning that the OS high manganese iron lithium battery innovatively uses the electrolyte multi-stage film formation and high-efficiency repair technology to achieve an essential breakthrough in the battery life. Thus, the life of the OS high manganese iron lithium battery can reach 2500 cycles. In addition, compared with other technical routes, CALB’s OS high manganese iron lithium battery can also achieve higher recycling efficiency, and promote the sustainable development of power batteries through efficient recycling of battery materials.
